Calico bass caught in front of Abalone Cove (Palos Verdes) - John "Eagle Eye" Pawlak Coronado fish stringer - Al "YakAtak" Silebi Yellowtail - Gabe 24.5 lb / 40 inch Halibut caught 7/5/04 by Bob Hodgin off Dana Point. I was on my new Hobie Outback and caught the fish on a Seeker BCSW 706 rod with a Shimano Calcutta 400S reel loaded with 15 lb test. Used a live sardine.

Santa Cruz Halibut - Brendan

Black Sea Bass I caught 100 yds off Carpinteria Beach. Took about 90 minutes before it would tire enough to get the hook out to release him. Measured just less than 36” and estimate 25#. August 7, 2004 Jim “Carpman” Winand catches 2 nice red snapper - New Zealand
