: Jas,
: Does the message board have a search by phrase/key word feature?
: I have read most of the last several month's posts and like the questions I have there are a lot of repeats.
: Is there a way for those who have done neat things to fix up their boats for fishing to be able to send px in to be posted?
: I was rigging a pop up trailer and I swear 1/2 the board had their own little web site up with px of how they had modified their trailer.
: Could this be done on this site? What is it they say a px is worth a 1000 words.
: Thanks,
: Jim
All in good time. If you visit our equipment and gear section, you'll see some equipment/gear that have description/explanations when you click on the photo. And yes, we are working on a few searchable methods (site search engine).
Beneath those photos and links is a long list of other gear and accessories. I will be working on converting that list to individual links to what, why and where these items are used. As I'm working on that data base, I'll also be working on the "product reviews" of some existing product as well as some "brand new" not even on the market products.
We also have scupper pros list in the rigged kayak section listing several of the accessories in a diagram format. Of course we will be adding many more examples of rigged kayaks.
I have received a couple pictures of viewers "rigged Kayaks". One is a regular from your favorite web site in Texas (MT. Stringer aka Mike Henderson). He sent me the photo a long time ago, as well has helped out people on Ocean Kayak Fishing with one of his bow line/anchor rigs.
I would check out the rigged kayaks section again. We're not suggesting people rig their kayaks just like these. But you should be able to get plenty of ideas from looking at the breakdown of gear and accessories.
Thanks for your input. All good ideas. I have a long list with those suggestions on it. We're always looking for more ways to inform, entertain and keep people safe.
