I like Humminbird, have their 200DX and the Pirana1 and 4. I like the permanant nature of the 300 TX, I did have to purchase the transducer separatly, and did not install the speedometer/ paddle wheel gizmo, I dont need to know exactly how slow I am going. The 300 performed great on the maiden voyage last Monday. TL Rhino
