: I am presently fishing (or starting to fish) from an Ocean Kayak Frenzy and am allready aware of the lack of room. I live very close to an Ocean Kayak dealer which sways my loyalties towards Ocean Kayaks.
: I have looked at the range and am thinking that the "scrambler XT" or the "Drifter" are about the right thing....what would be your suggestions?...I notice that the Drifter looks ideal, but there seems to be a lack of flat surfaces for mounting items(in the pictures at least).
: Secondly, I am suffering from the kayak yawing in strong tide flow, I have prevented the problem by using a line from the anchor wharp to the side, which then holds the yak about 45degs accross tide. This is fine, but then there is too much drag and the anchor started to drag :-/ , also, when u start to play a fish, the kayak can get turned even regardless of the extra line, and I found the line got under the kayak with much swearing etc following...I thought about the idea of a sea anchor off the bow to get over the problem instead of having the angled yak scenario...any suggestions?
: Thirdly (:-)) I carry the kayak to the waters edge, and it is heavy, is there a trolley system that can be stowed aboard when it is finished with? Or does anyone have any carrying methods that are favourable?
: I have lots of other questions, but feel stupid enough allready.

: Thanks for your time

: Kent

RE: There are newer models coming out so the drifter might not be the better choice for you.Yes, there are kayak dollys to transport, and fold up to pack inside a yak.
