I used 3M 4200 Marine Adhesive six months ago and it's still holding fine. It adheres to polyethylene well, stays flexible, and is not as fully permanent as 2 part epoxy.
Also I was warned against using the 5200 version 3M Marine adhesive as it is a permanent bond and you may not be able to remove the puck if it fails without damaging the hull.
