: Does anybody have any info on where to go hunting for some Tresher's, any info would be really appreciated.

Threshers are pretty seasonal around Southern California (not sure where you're at). Just like other large game, they can be found chasing the bait schools, perferably Mackeral. At this time of year, you can fish them. I suggest trolling in between 45-70 ft depth. Look for birds. They sometimes hunt with the dolphins herding up the bait balls. Though keep in mind that chasing birds can sometimes take you further out. Pay attention to the weather and the horizon as much as possible. That goes for the same when you hook up on one. The big ones tend to head straight out to sea.

I like trolling Rapala CD14s, 6" Fishtrap Swimbaits with a strip of squid (1.5-2oz+ leadhead) and fly lining live mackerals. If you want to see a good show, use live bait. They really leap out of the water when mouth hooked (usually). The Rapalas generally get tail hooked (much easier to release than mouth hooked). Vic hooked into one when I was with him using 2 whole dead squid pinned on a big hook.

Always have a partner with you when searching for Threshers (or just about any other time as well, but especially when you think you might get into some big game action). Just like anything, it's best to learn from someone experienced like an experienced buddy or a guide.

Good luck!
