I appreciate your reply so soon. I was just at Surf to Summit here in Santa Barbara today. They make the Drifter seat for Ocean Kayak. Jeff gave me a tour of the facility. It was very cool. If I decide to get a Drifter, I'll get the fishing seat and shim it up. Paddle Sports of Santa Barbara is going to have a Demo Day at West beach here in town. I'll try a few kayaks out to see what I like.
My question to you (since you are the guru according to others) is: Have you compared Ocean Kayak's Drifter to their smaller version, the Caper. If so, is the stability,ride, tracking, speed and fun comparible between the two. Your or anybody's input is appreciated.
