I fish off of a 2-man Stearns inflatable. I can email you a photo of how I have it rigged if you want. It's great-tough, sturdy and more stable than most hardshells. of course, it's slower than a hardshell, is more succeptible to high winds and you have watch out for puntures with hooks and gaffs flying around, but I love it. i take out on the kelp all the time. I can do almost eveything that hardshell kayakers do. Stearns makes a similar kayak just for fishing that is better equipped, but I like mine just fine.
: Hello, i'm just a beginner that can't afford an expensive kayak and don't have a big enough car to transport a hard shell kayak. Thus, i was wondering what you guys thought about the Stearns inflatable kayaks? Are inflatables dangerous to go out on? Any information would be helpful.
