RE: I think Bonny Doon Beach has a doable place for a launch; there is a big rock on the beach and the wave is split in two and the break on the left close to the cliff looked doable last time I was there. I just don't know the tide issue. There are plenty of places if you follow the highway up from Santa Cruz. Its just being there is different than reading about it.
