I have had my Malibu Ocean Sports kayak for over a year now. I have manhandled it enough that if the plastic was thin or weak, problems would have occured. I have the Pro2 and have all the hatches, pad eyes and 4 flush mount rod holders installed. Even after 7 or 8 hours in the water, beside having a sore ass, I might have 1/2 a cup of water in the hull at the end of the day. most of the water I attribute to having the hatches off at different times during the day.

You did not leave any details as to this hole, location , size? or how it was created? Since I own one of these kayaks please share the details so I may be careful while using my kayak if there is a problem.

I have stated in most of my reviews of my Pro2, that the one problem I ran into, is that MOS uses basic silicone on their hatches, the silicone seal popped on the front hatch and I ended up reinstalling the hatch with 5200 and stainless nuts and bolts. I am sure they would have resealed it , however I wanted a more permanent solution and handled it on my own.
