: I've been fishing one for the past month and have been hooked into a number of small Threshers 120lb and under. The Caper was great! It thouroughly surprised me. I've been fishing the Drifter and love the stability of that boat. I wiegh only about 170 but with the 5 gallon bait tank in the well and 4 rods it was very comfortable. I've shoved 6 rods and two gaffs and floats to assist friends with gear when landing and it all went in fine. It tracks well and turns easy. I like how light and easy it is to carry .The seat is much drier than my Drifter. I'd set it up with a Ryno bar to make it most fishable. I reccommend not to put in a center hatch. Depending on your weight you could flood that area.Cheers,Mark

RE: Yeah I agree with the center hatch issue; I was looking at the pics and wondered about that and others that have them there. I think my next kayak will be the mars, They have left that one alone for now, kind of basic.
