it's about a 1/2 mile stretch of beach on PCH. At high tide you could drive off the shoulder and into the ocean. It is aproximately a mile or so west of Pepperdine University on PCH. It's right across from the Malibu RV Park. The surf there is usually lower compared to oher places, although when it picks up there are wicked shore pounders.

After you launch, to the east is the Malibu Colony, Surfrider Beach and the Pier; to the west is Escondido, Paradise Cove and Point Dume. There is a large Kelp forest stretching both east and west.

This was the filming loaction of the kayak T-Shark fishing video on Inside sportfishing.

If you have been to Rincon, it's just like Rincon seawall without the seawall.
