Fished a couple hours, launched from Tidelands. Man it's hard to get out of bed when you know it's in the 30s outside. I'm fishing the SD Anglers tourney this Sat, so I talked myself into going. Got there at 1st light, paddled out to the deep water looking for the Sandies, threw the Halloween, and other brown 5"FT, thumps, short bites, tails gone, 1 unbuttoned halfway up. Went in by the #3 piling and threw the Deepdiver for 5 quick Spotties, about a 7# stringer would probably get me about 100th place, last year I had 8 1/2# for 46th. I'm going to try again Friday in the boat with my dad.
