: Fished from 10- 12 this morning, the end of the incoming tide, found the fish in deeper water. Didn't get any within 50 yds of shore. Threw 2 different patterns of FF Shad and caught all on the green and orange. I hope the weather is like today on Saturday, overcast and fairly calm, and I would be happy if I caught the fish I caught today, only 6, but all 13-14, and 1 under the bridge was 16, the only 1 to take any line. Tryed to get a picture , holding him out at arms length, he wouldn't fit in the frame, flicked his tail and said goodbye. I'm going to try again tomorrow with Corey. Good luck to all fishing on Saturday, there is not alot of water moving, but if everything else is right there should be alot of fish weighed in. Andy
Nice fish! I've never gotten into a spottie bite. Do they fight like a Sandy or more like a Calico? How bout them crankbaits? Do you usually have your best success with those when fishing spotties? Just curious because I don't fish with crankbaits (only because I don't have experience with them).
