I recently went and tried out a Malibu Pro Explorer, and like your review, I did find the seat to be a little awkward and found that it caused me some back pain, I also noticed that when I was paddling I was hitting the sides of the kayak with the paddle quite a bit, I have been looking for solutions to these problem do to that fact that even though it's slightly flawed seat I fell in love with the yak and would like to purchase one by the end of the month, I looked at the drifter seat and that seemed to be the only way to go till I read your review of the GTS Fishing seat and that also seems like a good option, Do you know of any place where I could rent these diffrent seats to try them out? I am right now leaning twoards the drifter seat because it will raise me and help avoid hittng the paddle against yak and help with the posture(less back pain). What do you think? Sorry for long post? Thanks for all your help, the website is awesome.
