i tend to think that there's no perfect for all reasons stated. the species of the day will dictate the most desireable yak. when i'm in a bay and the water's flat i wouldn't trade my pro2 for the world. but, when the chop gets up on the open water and i've ventured out a bit my dark brown eyes start to turn green @ the scuppers as they slice. then again, ive seen guys struggle mightily trying to cut thru surf without tipping ( ususally when its too rough anyway ) in the scuppers, but my school bus scarcely wavers.
however, my contribution would be in the area of accomodations:
I'D MOLD IN 2 EXTRA SCUPPER HOLES. ONE FOR A TRANSDUCER AND ANOTHER FOR A FOR A LIVEWELL PUMP. EACH ABOUT 4" IN DIAMETER FOR ZERO INTERFERENCE READS AND WATER WITHOUT HAVING TO PRIME. I'D ALSO RAISE THE SEAT WELLS. MOST GUYS THAT FISH HAVE A PAD SO WHY NOT JUST MAKE IT DRY TO START WITH? LASTLY, AS MANY LARGE ABOVE WATERLINE HATCHES AS U CAN FIT. U DONT HAVE TO OPEN THEM, BUT IF THEY AREN'T THERE, U R F**CKED!
MAKE ONE LIKE THAT AND I'LL DITCH THE PRO2 FOR THE GIRL I MEET @ THE DANCE:-)
