I do enough lake fishing that waders are looking like a good cold weather option. You won't be able to convince me to wear them in the ocean, but a lake seems manageable. The side benefit is that you can paddle close to feeder streams, get out and wade. We also do enough camping around rivers that they will go to good use.

My 9 year old son and I will be at the Irvine Lake tournament on March 1st and we will both probably be sporting our new neoprene waders on the tandem. We always wear PFDs. I am trying to arrange to go down Friday in my RV.
