Dry, warm, comfy, and with a paddle jacket, or any waterproof top you can have waves break over your head, and stay bone-dry all day. That's what the east coast guys wear when the waves are BIG the wind is Howling, the water is 45* and the air is freezing.Our kayak conditions are girly-man at worst compared to thiers, and they wear waders...quietman
RE: Now Iam confused as to why the breathables are better than the neoprene, they don't seem slimmer or is the belt the giveaway? They seem like they would gulp water from the chest down to the belt and make it hard to re-enter a yak. Breathable is a one way feature but would it work in a stream, where the water presure is greater? If not, then they are the same as neoprene, or am I wrong?
