: Can anyone tell me something about crystal pier. My wife saw an ad for it and want to spend a weekend. Is it a fishable area, and can you launch a yak from the shore. I don't know SD that well so any help is welcome

If you go back and read The Iceman’s report “2/1 Mission Beach” it should help with a few of your questions, because that day we fished from the mouth of MB and fished to Crystal Pier.
