: Did anyone know there are Huge waves in Half Moon? I never heard of this place before. Anf fo the fishing aspect of this post: I would be a great place to catch a GW!.

Oh Man used to hang out in half moon bay on occasion. Pumpkin fest comes to mind, seems I remember something about pumpkin ale :) Used to play in the surf there once and awhile. I think it is just out side the great white triangle, but not by much so it would not matter.
The triangle is S.F. to the farrlons to Eureka.
My Brother in law and sister had taken some biologists out years ago when they where doing a study on them. It seems that the Farrlon islands are a breeding ground for GW.
