Well, I just put a Scupper TW in layaway today (my college budget wouldn't allow outright purchase), and I have to say it was THIS SITE that sealed the deal for me.
Down here on the Third Coast, we fish mostly shallow bays and such, but I've got a JONES to lay into some tarpon or mahi in the Gulf this Summer. The Wilderness Systems Tarpon is THE hot boat here in Texas, but then I found THIS SITE and saw those pics of y'all with those sharks (in Scupper TW's no less) and it all became clear as a Texas Summer day. Is everyone here happy with OK's rudder? My shop is pushing Feathercrafts as an alternative.
The boat is a cool OD/wheat fade that makes it camo enough to duck hunt out of this Winter, too! One question, though: Y'all are obviously using gaffs to boat the fish, but where do you put them for the ride home? I have visions of paddling to shore with 2 BIG mahi lashed to the front deck like some sort of fishing god...
