Got to La Jolla to 5:30. Eagle eye met me shortly there after. I have never fished La Jolla before in my kayak. I was glad to be going out fishing with Eagle Eye. He has fished La Jolla alot and knows the place very well. We got rigged up and several other yakers showed up. I got a chance to meet several guys from the board. Tom Booth, Adam(The Fishin' Magician), and SoulWinner. It was nice to meet you guys. We launched and paddeled out past the bouys. We stopped to get situated. We trolled some Rebels out to the fishing area for nothing but kelp. We ended straight out from the launch out a ways from the point. There was an offshore breeze blowing us out fairly quickly. We met up with Soulwinner. We started metering bait and Soulwinner And Eagle eye started catching some. Some perch witch they trew back and a some of spanish. I got my sabiki snagged on some kelp and broke it off. I deciced to throw a 5" Storm shad in croaker color. The wind was moving us out. Suprisingly it wasn't that difficult paddling back twords shore aginst it. Unfortunately for me I must have ate somthing that didn't agree with me last night. I was getting a bad pain in my stomach. I decided to call it a morning. Just as I was leaving somthing bent one of Soulwinners rods. It looked like it got wrapped in the kelp. I was sorry to leave so early but I couldn't help it. I said good by to Eagle Eye and Soulwinner and paddled back in. Landed dry. Eagle Eye thanks for lettin me tag along. I learned alot in the short time I spent on the water with you this morning. Thanks. Soulwinner it was nice fishing with you. Off the water at 9:00 A.M.
