: Dry launched @ 10 am. Fished the boilers for a few calicos and sand bass. The water was clear and the temperature at 59 degrees. Met a guy named Joe on a blue scupper while crakin' @ the boilers. He was fishing for halibut, but all he got was a bunch of sand dabs. I continued fishing while Joe called the day. Sacked some more bass until a short white sea bass ripped his lips on my plastic. ZZZZZZZZ and hook up. These babies are like fire crackers. He even jumped out of the water like a Mahi. I also fished the canyon for a nice red caught on the IRON. It was a nice day to fish @ Dume. Just another day in paradise...click the link to see the newest pictures on the water.

Thanks for the report and especially the photos. When I was fishing the Corral area, I caught 5 baby WSBs...smaller though than the one you caught. Nevertheless, a great sign. They were schooling thick at the bottom (70 feet). A few weeks ago, a local homeowner hooked up on some legals in the Dume area.
See ya on the h2o,
