Hit the water @ 7 ish to no swell. Cught a Sandie at the kelp just after rigging. Hit a coulpe of bumps for nada. Setteled in at the 55 spot just after 8. Meter showed lots'a activity. I landed a big calico (20+"),on plastic, just as the Erna B was anchoring and several nice Sculpin ( 13" or 14" I oppted not to measure) a bit later on a small yo-yo jig. Finished up with a small Calico that I kept for dinner. Not exactly hot but definitely starting to warm.
On another note, there was a PBr that drifted by the Erna B colse enough to order lunch. Not once but twice! I couldn't believe this bone head. Cudos to the skipper, he just smiled and said nothing. I was impressed. I almost said somthing and I wasn't involved.
Anyhow, it was a great day on the water, and a rare one at that, to be able to launch @ Count Line without a little pucker is a real treat.
