Plumbers Goop works just as good for me. You can get it at any Home Depot. Just rough up the inside of the hull with 80 grit sandpaper. Clean the area where you will mount the transducer with alcohol or similar solvent. (Note beer, rum or vodka will not clean anything except your clock, to many impurities ;)) Put a good dollop of goop on your transducer and set it in place with a twisting motion to smoosh it down and spread out the Goop. Put a weight on top of it and let it set for 4 to 6 hours. If you see lines or constant fish indications on your fish finder, you have an air bubbles in the adhesive matrix between the hull and the transducer. If you or your neighbor has a swimming pool, use it to test out your fish finder before making the trip to the ocean. Mine has stayed inplace for over two years now without any problems at all.
