Your right, small ones are manageable once you get a hold of them. They're stiff like a tuna, so they can't get all squidly like a blue that can twist and turn and come back on itself. It's getting a hold of them yakside that could be the problem.
vic i have noticed the smaller ones tire easily and can be managable, last year i caught and released a twenty pounder on a 11 foot boat. From a kayak i guess its too dangerous.thanks for all the inputtim
