Perry's hosting another Fisn-N-Que next Sunday May 4th, at Paddle Power located in Newport Beach. The general plans call for fishing/paddling in the morning, then having a Pot Luck style of Bar-B-Que in the afternoon. They plan on lighting the grill about 1pm.
For those who wish to paddle only, Mark Olsen from Ocean Kayak will be there with a trailer of demo kayaks by Ocean Kayak and Old Town canoe to try out. If you are new to paddling, some basic instruction will be available to you.
If you want to fish, there may be a jackpot available depending on demand, but it will be 100% optional. You are welcome to fish whether you wish to enter any type of jackpot or not.
Parking is regulated with meters. The charge is 25 cents for each 15 minutes. They are checked heavily, so you should make every effort to assure compliance. Hope to see you there.
