LJ 5-21-03

I drove straight from work to the Shores and was on the water by 4:30P. It was windy but sunny and warm and even though the wind was maybe 15 knots, it was an onshore so I wasn’t too concerned. I lost a WSB to the kelp after a 20-minute fight.

Scott originally from Del Mar but who now lives in Mission Beach was out for his first time this season and got this YT that was 36” at the fork. It was very fishy out there this evening.

Off the water at 7:30.

(3) kayaks and one was a free diver
(3) PB’rs all divers

The lifeguard drove up and very politely and professionally talked to us about unloading our gear in the 5-minute time that is posted on the sign in front of the driveway.
