: From my private fishing pond, we finally got out tonight at 5:45 pm. Against my better judgement, my 9 year old son and I launched into a brisk headwind. We dropped a broken back rapala on 6lb flourcarbon leader, on 18lb leadcore. 9 colors out (just for scott shaw) we trolled across the lake to the Village. We decide to turn back and get out of the wind. On the way back we got hit and landed a solid 14"rainbow just in time for the tourist boat. We hit the shore at 6:30. We will be out tomorrow at the crack of dawn. Jason, we got the whole thing on tape. It was tough taping from the back seat on the tandem, so hopefully we will have some better footage tomorrow. Save some space on your site, I'll edit the tape down to something fun. Looking for the monster crappie.-Ted
Great to hear a fresh water report! You don't hear too many of dem (I'd like to read more). Nothing like taken the boy out for some fishn'. I have some server space with your name on it. Do you think it will make the Cannes? lol. Thanks for the footage, I'll get it up as soon as I get it.
