Malibu eXtreme Speed

I paddled the Malibu eXtreme today at Sunset Beach. I took my GPS to check the speed (I'm 67 years young and a newbie).

I paddled out for 1/2 mile and after I got going, I was moving at 4.2 mph. On the way back the wing picked up. I don't know the wind speed, but the American flag was flying at 90 degrees from the flag pole. My speed heading into the wing was 2.7 mph.

This is provided just for information purposes. I'm sure you younger more experience kayakers will be faster.
