You're welcome, Bob. The Ride is a great overall kayak and I'm sure you'll be happy with its performance.
I'd really suggest you buy one with a rudder. It's a great help on on windy day or lots of chop. That way you can steer with your feet and paddle normally instead of having to correct your direction with paddle strokes/maneuvers. I've never regretted spending the extra money for it.
You can also attach a kite or a sail to the yak and use the rudder for steering. Mary
: Thanks for the resonse Mary. unfortunately I'm in San Antonio. I'm sure we could work out details for shipping but I'm also pretty sure that for the time and money we would put into getting it here I would be better off buyin something in Texas. Sounds like you've got a sweet ride though and I'm sure it won't last long. Thanks Bob
