Launched sat.morning around 7 surf was about 3-4 ft. Worked up to the Big Rock area for one Bass released.Lots of bait in area and water was pretty clean.Went outside to try bounce balling for Halibut. Saw a lot of bait on top.Caught 3 halibut in about 45min. no legals but one was over 21in.Heres my set up pole -Seeker 7ft. 196. reel Shimono 15-30 with 25lb.main 20lb florocarbon leader. 12oz. torpedo sinker on 18in leader. For the plug I used a Pline surface plug that was green on top with a brown line in center it looks like a Smelt.Any way this rig really works and I should start getting some legals any day. Jack
