I've had great luck with jointed Rebels too. They don't dive as deep as the rapala's but they provide a lot of enticing movement even when you're moving slow. Their hardware is a little light, so I remove the two front treble hooks and replaced the tail one with a heavy duty treble or large single hook. Works great on bass and cudas...maybe I'll land a yellow or WSB one of these days......
: I have caught fish with Rapalas, but I have caught alot more with 5.5" jointed Rebel Spoonbills and 5.5" Fastracks. They flat kill the cuda and the bass. They are a little on the light side for big 80-100+ lb threshers though. For small to medium weight fish they work great. Robert
