Today I brought my Shimano Corsair reel in to the ever helpful guys at Save On Tackle in Santa Fe Springs to put stronger line for that big halibut I know I'm gonna get! So the guy says,"That's a Corsair! Shimano's gonna give you a brand new reel! They're recalling all the old Corsairs and replacing them because of defective gears.
I thought ,"What? No way!" but then I gave him my info,my Corsair ,and he gave me a claim check. I pick up my new Corsair in 3-4 weeks! Go for it! And I repeat,I'm a teacher ,not a Cobra or Shimano salesman! That's for "Skcusarboc"!
