Which boat do you have? I have a pro2tandem and it sticks fine to the bottom of mine. I never noticed that there was a difference between the two boats on the bottom.
: just received the portable upgrade kit for my piranah 5 fish finder..and ran into a problem I did not think of when I ordered it. The suction cup that holds the transducer in place will not stick to the pebble finish side of my Malibu Kayak! Has anyone tried sticking one of those suction cup transducers undrneath the boat on the very bottom? I found that by reversing the bracket, the tranducer will mount at a good angle doing this, the finish is slick there, and it will stick, Im just wondering how much drag the transducer/suction cup undeneath the boat will slow me down? Probably not an issue while drifting, but somtimes I like to cruise and hunt for structure. Any body else encounter this issue?
