First fish from a kayak

I finally got a kayak yesterday. I ended up getting a Tarpon 120. I got it rigged up with rod holders and took it out yesterday afternoon. I tried the kelp bed beside Coast Guard Pier for about 2 hours and didn't get anything. Then I tried a spot on the other side and finally got on some fish. I got 4 rockfish in about 20 mins. One was easily over a foot long and put up a decent fight on the lighter action setup I was using.
