PAL is so right! I'd feel more comfy with a good GPS, of course always take a good compass with you regardless if you have a GPS. Though one thing good about the fog is it usually means no wind. We always get worried in the am if there isn't any fog. From my experience, it usually means that the wind is already there, on the way, or building up.
