I am sure by now you have received a number of complaints regarding the conduct of the skipper of the Dolphin. I am a kayak fisherman who also enjoys taking 1/2 day, day, and overnight trips on party boats. Before moving to the West Coast I chartered a 6-pack tuna trip every summer and a striper trip every fall with my family. Every commercial fishing boat I've ever been on has been courteous and helpful to the boats fishing around it - whether or not they were near the chum-chunk line. I've been on a 4-hour flounder boat that stopped fishing to aid in the rescue of some folks whose boat was taking on water. I've never heard of any conduct like what my fellow kayak-fisherman are describing from the Dolphin. If it's not criminal its at least unethical to the extreme. I was planning on taking friends out on the Chubasco II this weekend but now I'm going to take my business to Point Loma Sportfishing. A few of the folks I'm bringing are new to the sport, and I don't want to taint their vision of fishing with this kind of nonsense. I also don't want to support the practice of bullying other boats, especially the small, self-propelled, easily-tipped variety that I own. Please reconsider the way you conduct your business.Travis
