I have to say, this is a great site and most of the poster (if not all), are very mature in the manner in which they post. Had this thread occurred on Allen's board, you would get all sorts of Ocean Kayak guys responding in the nastiest of ways. I know. I posted there a couple of times and mentioned that I like my Pro Explorer and as result, i got email threats from some sick folks. I not sure why that is. But you have to recognize that we as the consumer are the benifactors of these new designs. The prowler and the extreme both accomplish a rare blend of speed and stability but in different ways and with very different deck layouts.
By the way Jim, I am suprised you haven't test driven an extreme yet.
