I usually launch S of the first rock jetty across from the power plant. Just gotta pick and choose when it's the best bet to launch out. When landing, stow your gear. The kelp is not too far, short paddle. Another spot that is good is Ponto's, again, S of the first jetty, head SW, the kelp is usually sittin of Leucadia. Good for Calicos, occasional WSB, also some Sheepshead. Have fun.
