Launched with Ric and Grego around 8 or so paddled out to a medium red tide. I started bounce balling got a sand bass and a small butt right away went out about 3/4 mi and it felt like I was caught in the kelp. Started winding in and it didnt fight like kelp it was a 30 in. butt which I kept. Also caught about 10 sandbass. A fun day. Note fish do bite in a red tide. Jack
