I use this boat. I set it up to sit in the middle. I use a 1/2 milk crate behind me with rocket launcher rod holders. I stick my bait tank in there. I also have a full milk crate in the front seat with more rocket launchers for storing more rods and tackle box..etc. This isn't an extremely fast boat, but it gets me around. It tracks really well. I don't have any hatches or flush mounts. I use a Pirannah 1 portable fish finder with the suction cup transducer..this works fine. Very stable too. You can stand on it if you want. When fishing I usually sit side saddle when fighting fish, or on a nice slow drift. Good luck, I hope this gives a little insight.
