In addition to my F'N'D,I also have a Pro 2 Tandem,and that's what I used before I got the Cobra. In my opinion ,the pro 2 tandem is a very weel constructed yak. I thinkthe material is stronger than my F-N-D. Also ,I have the one with the extra footrests,so it works great solo! They had to stop that model after problems with Ocean Kayak. I'm not sure if that injunction is still in place or has been lifted. It's six inches longer than the F-N-D. Velocity isn't a great factor in consideration of a fishing yak. The only time I wished my fPro 2 Tandem had more speed was when I got downbay in newport and a helluva wind came up in my face. I couldn't make headway against it to get back to my launch site. Fortunately a nice guy in a tiny Zodiac saw my dilemma and gave me a tow back!
