Thanks for your perspective and I do appreciate the astronomical odds of actually being taken out by a shark. But I can recall several stories from the not so distant past of kayakers being attacked. Anyway we all know we're part of the food chain when we get out into the wild, and quite honestly it would be an honor to check out that way as long as you weren't doing something stupid and asking for it like some of the recent news stories involving apex predators and dead humans. Paranoia aside, what sparked my thoughts on the subject was fireflys story of bringing a fairly large shark to color (thats still very much alive) that you intend to harvest. Or any large fish for that matter. What do you do? I will peruse the archives and technique sections but again any feedback would be appreciated.
