Hooping

I'm thinking about hitting it up this eve. I had some good success the other night though I did accidentally release a lob-lunker on one of my last pulls. I put it a foot deep into my game bag. As soon as I released my grasp, hoping it would just drop in, the thing skyrocketed out of the bag and landed about 3ft from my kayak. I placed him in tail first but he managed to make a turn and leap out in the blink of an eye. Next time I'll use my other hand to grab him from the outside of the bag before pulling my other hand out. I managed 4 legals (5th got away) and several shorts for the eve.
