: : This is just devastating to us bass-fishing-kayak addicts.Maybe we could write to them with persuasive arguments as to why they should not just allow sit-in's only?I think it is a body contact concern but what is to stop a standard boater from peeing overboard? It doesn't make sense to me. If they are worried about rolling in then I wonder why sit-in's get a break? I will match my Outback with any sit-in for stability. Here is the site:http://www.dvlake.com/index.htmlHere is the "Contact" email address: lpoggenphol@mwdh2o.com This lake is one of the best in the country right now and it opens soon. Mike Long pre-fished it and says it is like Barrett only with much bigger bass. Maybe if we write them in a friendly and rational/logical way we can appeal them to rethink the ruling?Maybe I'm a dreamer...............TL,SHRED ...this’ll give you a good excuse to buy another kayak. Also, some anglers argue that SI kayaks have many advantages over the SOT. Or maybe Malibu Kayaks will develop an after market removable shroud for one of their existing fishing kayaks. With the shroud and a set of scupper plugs you’ll be able to convert your MK SOT to a SI whenever the occasion requires.

What about handicapped accessabilty? The shoreline fishing area is not a safe or useable spot for people with even mild handicaps. Much less a wheelchair bound person.

Sincerely, C.E.O.

Legally Blind, and Love to fish!!!
