Please note that I am just trying to answer Pat's questions. I usually don't get involved with this kind of thread but since I have owned both kayaks, I thought I would be in a good position to answer his questions. I by no means am an expert, I just like to fish and just posted my opinion. I purchased the Extreme for exactly what it is known for - fast and stable, and it delivers. The new seal also works great, thank you.
I guess it's like comparing old girl friends, you miss somethings from the last one but you definitely are excited about the new one and you truly like both.
