Here is a site for a Plastic trim tool I would use on my kayak. The plastic welder in the other post would melt a hole in your kayak, because the kayak plastic melts at around 125 degrees; so even if you buy the trim tool you will need to set it at the lowest setting, and work up in degrees. Be sure to get the pocket thermometer to check you setting.
