: Is this front seal kit a newer seal than the original one the kayak comes with? I have always been very careful on putting the front hatch on, but I always seen to get water in the boat.
It is a new seal that is screwed on the hull and keeps the water out a lot better. Contact Malibu kayaks for more information. Jack
