Hi gang. I'm relatively new to kayak fishing. I've been on various kayaks before many times. About two months ago, I purchased a Pro 2 Tandem from Malibu Kayaks. Those guys are a class act. They not only gave me a killer price on a used Pro 2 Tandem, but they also included many other essentials, such as paddles (a good one), brand new high-back seat with the pouch and drink holders, the big hatch and the small hatch behind it, and six flush-mount rod holders. The kayak itself is in great shape and is extremely stable. All in all, I was so impressed with them that I would do business with them again in a heartbeat.
By the way, I was out fishing on my Pro2Tandem off Malibu Pier yesterday (1-13-2004) and scored a nice 28 inch halibut. Not too bad for one of my first fish on the yak.
